Apple pie is a very popular dessert, especially in cold seasons, as it is excellent as a mid-afternoon snack and accompanied with hot drinks. So if you want to learn how to make the best tart, follow this easy recipe.

Very few ingredients are required to prepare this recipe, although you may have to go out to the store to buy a couple of them. For the preparation you will need the following:

  • 4 large apples.
  • 180 grams of all-purpose flour.
  • 2 eggs.
  • 175 ml of whole milk.
  • 100 grams of brown sugar.
  • Peach or apricot jam.
  • Butter and flour for the mold.


Making a good apple pie is a pretty straightforward and simple process, which starts with gathering all the ingredients in the right amounts. And below, each step that must be followed is specifically detailed:

Step 1
Take 2 of the apples, wash them well, peel and dice them. It is not necessary to be very careful with the shape, since the idea is only to reduce the size of the entire apple.

Step 2
In a blender, place the apple pieces, eggs, sugar and milk and blend well until smooth. If you don't have a blender, you can use a food processor and puree in a large bowl.

Step 3
Once homogeneous, pour the flour, sifting it with a strainer. Then, it must be stirred very well to integrate the flour into the mixture, without leaving any lumps.

Step 4
Preheat the oven to 180ºC. While it heats up, wash the other 2 apples and peel them well, but in this case they should be cut into slices of just under 5 mm.

Grease a mold with butter and flour it well. Then, pour the mixture into the mold and cover it with the apple slices following a spiral pattern.

Put in the oven and cook for 45 minutes. And once the time has passed, let it rest in the open air. After it is cool, you can unmold it and cover the top with a layer of jam using a pastry brush or teaspoon.
