Ingredients
- Forty-eight pecan halves (get a few in case the spacers are a bit more)
- Twenty-eight Wrap Caramel T Cream
- 1 1/4 c sweet chocolate chips (I use Ghirardelli chips)
- 1 teaspoon of coconut oil (optional).
Instructions
Cover the butter paper with butter paper.
Arrange the pecans in twelve Xs making the four legs very prominent.
Peel the caramel and place it in a bowl that can be heated in the microwave. Do not try to use a container that is too small.. You'll want to be able to move it around with ease. Add the cream and microwave at 50% power for thirty seconds if the heat has not melted for 15 seconds with a 50% power interval. Stir every now and then. Stir and place a full tbsp in the center of each pecan batch. Leave it for at least fifteen minutes to cool.
Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave for 1 minute on 50% power. Stir until the bowl is very warm. Continue heating at intervals of fifteen to thirty seconds at 50% until completely melted. Stir occasionally so as not to overheat the pot.
Chocolate is poured with a spoon over the caramel; Unfold it and roll it with the back of a spoon. Leave it for a few hours to set completely. to speed up the process you can cool the turtle.
Enjoy!!
