Ingredients to make Traditional Irish Stew:
- 4 lamb chops
- A tablespoon of olive oil
- three potatoes/potatoes
- two carrots
- two small onions
- two cups of consomme (chicken or lamb)
- a sprig of rosemary
- Salt
- pepper to taste
How to make Traditional Irish Stew:
1 Sear (fry the surface) the lamb chops in the oil.
2 Then they are accommodated in the bottom of a saucepan along with the sprig of rosemary.
3 On top, put the onions cut in half and the carrots in large pieces and season with salt and pepper.
4 The whole and peeled potatoes or large chunks are then placed between the lamb ribs.
5 nAdd the broth, cover the pan and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for an hour and a half.
6 Serve this rich stew, a traditional Irish dish, in a deep plate. This dish is a complete meal and can be eaten as a single dish. Delicious and comforting in the winter.
