Homemade Chocolate Bars


500 g of milk powder

between 50 to 100 g of pure cocoa powder

150g of butter

150 ml of water

250g sugar


200g almonds


Hello friends ♡, today I want to show you how to make these delicious homemade CHOCOLATE BARS, with high protein content. These CHOCOLATE BARS are a delicious alternative to industrial bars. As you will see, they are prepared with powdered milk that has a high protein content. They are high-quality proteins from milk. You can see the nutritional information below. They are very easy and fast and they are deliciou.

Depending on whether we like them with a more intense or milder flavor, we add more or less pure cocoa. Pure cocoa, obtained with the least possible handling, is a healthy food with high antioxidant power.

My opinion is that at the same time that we enjoy an exquisite sweet, we can provide nutrients to our body. You can also opt for the healthier version, substituting stevia or xylitol for sugar.

Choose to prepare your own desserts with high nutritional value, instead of buying industrial products empty of nutrients.



Put the water, sugar, butter and cocoa in a saucepan. We take it to the fire and let it heat up. When it starts to boil, let it cook for 2 minutes and turn off the heat.


In a non-stick pan, toast the nuts of your choice over medium heat. On this occasion I use 200 g of peeled almonds.


In a large bowl, put the powdered milk and pour over the cocoa syrup that we had prepared, which must be very hot. Stir well to incorporate everything. Add the almonds, reserving a few for decoration. We incorporate the almonds and we have it ready.


We line a mold with parchment paper, as you can see in the video. The sizes of my mold are 26 long by 12 wide and 6 high.


Pour the chocolate into the mold and cover with parchment paper. Flatten with your hands to give it a rectangular shape.

We open the paper wrapper and decorate by placing some almonds on top or other nuts of our choice.

Close the wrapper and let cool completely before cutting.


Once cold, it should be kept wrapped in plastic wrap or in a plastic bag.


It is a homemade chocolate with a nice texture, different from the chocolate we find in stores. Although we have to take measures since it contains sugars, it is a healthier and more delicious chocolate.
